Our client is a superannuation fund with over $65 billion in FUM. The fund invests across a diverse range of asset classes and the "physical assets" team has a $2.5 billion allocation to invest in unlisted property and infrastructure assets. This fund is actively investing capital and has a very healthy pipeline of current opportunities and a focus on growing the business.
An opportunity has arisen for an infrastructure specialist to work within the physical assets team alongside the senior portfolio manager. The role will focus will provide exposure to portfolio construction, investment strategy, manager selection, investment monitoring, direct/indirect investment due diligence and research across both the property and infrastructure asset classes.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ infrastructure sector experience gained in either funds management or investment banking/advisory. You will demonstrate a good understanding of infrastructure assets, market players and investment structures domestically and globally.
This opportunity provides a blank canvas for the right individual and will be a highly autonomous role. The infrastructure investment programme has already commenced but you will be the ‘go to’ person for the asset class within them team.
