WALFORD PRINCIPAL

Established in 1893, Walford Anglican School for Girls Inc has a long tradition of excellence and achievement in providing exceptional academic and co-curricular education for girls based on Christian principles.

After eight years of inspirational and visionary leadership and outstanding service to the School, the current Principal, Mrs Helen Trebilcock will retire in September 2012.

With approximately 700 students from ELC to Year 12 and over 100 staff, Walford is the only girls’ school in Australia to offer all three programs of the International Baccalaureate along with SACE. Located in picturesque surrounds just 10 minutes from the CBD, the school enjoys a magnificent blend of heritage and contemporary facilities including a new boarding house and a new multi-purpose hall and offers a strong and supportive community.

The Council of Governors seeks applications from appropriately qualified and experienced educationalists with exceptional leadership and communication skills, complemented by the warmth, energy, vision and passion necessary to inspire and lead the school community as Principal of Walford.

Confidential enquiries are welcomed from genuinely dynamic, accomplished and forward thinking individuals keen to lead one of South Australia’s finest educational organisations.
