Alcott Vision/Mission:

Alcott School has the distinction of being the only traditional Pre K-

12 school in the Chicago Public School system. We are one school

with one principal and two campuses. Alcott School believes

success of our students. Our community strives to keep our class

sizes below the CPS allowance. Alcott provides a fully integrated

environment for students of all abilities.

Our focus at Alcott is to create a small school environment. Our

teachers support the core curriculum through the integration of the

arts: incorporating music, drama and visual arts as well as a

Mandarin Chinese language program. With creative leadership and

dedication every child can succeed and meet the challenges todays

students encounter. Success at Alcott involves more than just high
