CTC has an opportunity for a qualified Principal National Guard Bureau (NGB) Air National Guard (ANG) Analyst in Arlington, VA.

PRINCIPAL NATIONAL GUARD BUREAU (NGB) ARMY NATIONAL GUARD (ANG) ANALYST

Primary Responsibilities: The successful candidate will support the Office of the Secretary of Defense Operational Readiness and Safety, and the National Guard Bureau, J359 office.

Provide customer support to the NGB and his/her primary duties will include implementing the use of the Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS) for NGB and to provide subject matter expertise to analyze, review, develop, refine, facilitate, and monitor ANG readiness reporting.
Development and assessment of Mission Essential Task (MET).
Participation in internal NGB and DoD-wide readiness meetings, individual and group training in DRRS, classroom and individual guidance on system use, maintenance of NGB readiness reports and recommendations for DRRS system development/change management.
Coordinate with the Defense Readiness Specialists (DRSs) that operate in each of the ten FEMA regions, if necessary, the DRRS Implementation Office (DIO), Joint Staff and Subordinate ANG Commands on readiness issues.
Brief Flag Officers, coordinate across Staff Directorates, conduct training, evaluate the quality of command readiness assessments, and report assessments that are insufficient or lack justification.
Support the Army Program Manager.

Basic Qualifications: The successful candidate will possess a BA/BS and 10 plus years of directly related experience/knowledge with ANG / U.S. Air Force / Defense Department readiness assessments, military organization, chain of command, Mission Essential Tasks (MET), and high-level staff experience at service, Joint, OSD or other Department level, to include demonstrated writing and briefing skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

It is desirable that the candidate is DRRS certified, has experience coordinating, analyzing or preparing ANG input to the Quarterly Readiness Report to Congress (QRRC), has a keen understanding of the Joint and Air Force Deliberate Adaptive Planning processes, experience with the Joint Operation Planning and Execution System (JOPES), a comprehensive knowledge of the Status of Resources and Training System (SORTS) and the use of Aerospace Expeditionary Force (AEF) Unit Type Code (UTC) reporting tool (ART). Experience working at the HQ/AFOSI Readiness Office, Andrews AFB.
ANG experience is a plus.

Clearance: U.S. Citizenship required. Must possess and be able to maintain a Secret-level security clearance, along with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance if necessary.
