Job Summary: Tier 3 Transport Support Engineers expertise is needed to support a complex network environment and the onsite programs operational tempo and engineering activities. Job Responsibilities: " Working Tier 2/ Tier 3 Network related Remedy tickets " Work with internal and external customers to fill information gaps and communicate architecture and technical solutions. " Assist in the development of the NCE Network Transport Architecture " Develop detailed logical designs in areas of: - Gigabit Ethernet Switching/Routing (OSPF BGPv4) - IPv4 IPv6 (will migrate to IPv6 over life of contract) -Multicast architecture -Routing Table Virtualization (VRFs) -Spanning Tree and Cisco VSS architectures -Cisco MPLS -QOS and COS -Security, IDS, VPN and various types of encryption " Implement the above named detailed logical designs " Monitor, Troubleshoot and maintain the implemented transport solutions. Job Qualifications: "CCNA Required "2+ years of Network Integration Experience "Solid understanding of Layer 2 3 networking. "Experience with Layer 1 (Building Wiring Architectures) --Experience with OSPF and BGP routing protocols --Experience with IPv4 and IPv6 -Ability to design and deploy Cisco MPLS/VPN and VRF network cores -Ability to design and deploy QoS Enterprise wide. "Familiarity with Cisco Network and Security products --Juniper Netscreen, Secure Computing Sidewinder and Cisco ASA Firewalls --Cisco IDS --Anti-Virus Scanning appliances. "Analytical and willing to work details "Goal oriented and self-motivated Desired Skills: CCNP certified prefered MCSE, knowledge of AD design VMware, familiar with VDI deployment Multicast Expertise (IPTv) VoIP Experience (VoIP) Familiarity with CIDRLs Years of Experience: 8-10 years of directly related experience in network analysis and design. Education Requirement: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, military or work experience.
