Principal Operation Support Systems Engineer #2023
This position will be responsible for providing Principal Engineering level support with implementing and maintaining the approved NMS/OSS strategy in an ongoing basis, including but not limited to user training, user requirements for enhancements of current and future toolsets, NMS utilization reporting requirements such as Infovista and Cacti, NMS change control, and level 2 Operations support for selected Operations systems such as VECS (occasional use RF access system) and Glowlink carrier management system, Netcracker, and Element Management Systems (EMS). This position will also coordinate all internal and external functions/parties, serve as the primary point-of-contact in coordinating design projects and schedules as required, provide Level 3 ongoing support and maintenance, participate in On-Call activities and provide technical resolutions for escalated operational issues. This position will also mentor more junior OSS Engineers.
