A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Analyst to join a National renowned energy company, working in a split role based in there offices between South East Kent and Hove.
You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of the Finance ledgers for EFS Field Sales Services and Energy Services.
Manage the monthly reporting timetable to ensure that all aspects of the Management Accounts and Performance Reporting are accurate and timely with a clear understanding of all variances to budget and forecast.
Lead, influence and challenge EFS Field Sales Services and Energy Services in monitoring and improving business performance.
Provide quality financial and operational management information to, support the business on the key performance metrics and business decisions to ensure the business is managed to the highest possible standards.
Monitor and report on business performance to all levels of management,
To provide financial support to the Directorate
Lead the month end and current year re-forecasts
In accordance with the company annual planning cycle (Medium Term Plan and Budget) manage the delivery of the financial operational plans down to cost centre level.
As a Principal analyst, the jobholder is responsible for delivering executive level management summaries across specific functional areas and for the translation of business strategy into business actions.
Qualifications and Experience
An education to degree standard
Qualified Accountant or significant experience in Performance Management
Experience of managing internal relationships, providing both support and challenge to business performance
Knowledge of financial reporting processes
Ability to manage activities with regular and tight deadlines
Strong planning experience
Knowledge of the workings of the Energy Industry
