Our client is well financed with an excellent reputation, substantial 'dry powder' and an investment portfolio that is performing well. This is therefore an outstanding opportunity to join a well placed business at a good time. The business focuses on a variety of sectors within the GCC/MENA Region and has a high calibre team in place. As a result the criteria for this position are extremely strict and the successful candidate will need to possess the following:
- A proven private equity/principal investment track record gained within the GCC/MENA Region; those who possess only investment banking/advisory experience, however strong, will not be considered on this occasion.
- The ability to lead deals and support senior management in other tasks such as pitching and further equity-raising as required.
- Outstanding financial modelling, deal structuring and execution skills.
- Business Fluent Arabic would be highly advantageous. As a result those who speak Arabic but whose track record has been rained outside the MENA Region will be considered. The ideal candidate will obviously possess both Arabic and significant MENA private equity experience.
- Strong communication, negotiation and management skills.
