Principal Product Manager-Amazon Web Services- Mechanical Turk

The Mechanical Turk Principal Product Manager will help define the business and product strategy. The ideal candidate is a seasoned Product Manager and thought leader with strong business strategy and product management experience in internet services.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive product roadmap definition and business initiatives that will have a significant impact on Mechanical Turk adoption and usage.
- Create proposals for new product initiatives and investment based.
- Conduct business and financial analysis, including pricing analysis, forecasting and business reporting.
- Understand customer needs based on customer interactions, research and customer usage patterns. Understand what drives adoption, usage, satisfaction and referrals and integrate this into business plans.
- Work closely with engineering to drive product innovation and delivery.
- Work closely with the sales and business development organizations to drive growth strategies.
- 7 + years of product management experience in a technology business
- A proven track record in shaping business strategy and delivering technology products/services in a high growth environment where priorities can shift rapidly.
- Technical depth and business savvy to successfully engage and influence with all levels and disciplines within the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to develop sound business proposals backed by hard data and metrics.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
- BA/BS required; BS in Computer Science/Engineering/Mathematics plus MBA preferred
- Solid history of creative problem solving in product definition and delivery.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; strong bias for action.
