We are currently seeking a passionate, talented, innovative customer-focused Principal Product Manager who will provide direction, management and technical expertise to the Documentum D2 product line. Documentum D2 is a new family of ECM client solutions offered by EMC that is an easily configurable browser-based client which allows the user to access the Documentum ECM feature set. Our desire is to utilize this configuration ability as a pervasive configuration layer across our product lines. This position will be focused on innovations around configuration and will coordinate requirements and priorities across teams. The detailed nature of the functionality will require not only deep technical skills but will also require attention to detail, precise communication and superior organization. Job Responsibilities Drive the product direction and definition in the area of configuration layer across all content management and case clients Deliver a best of breed UI configuration environment for web-based and mobile clients Innovate on behalf of customers and partners to define the products used to configure content management and collaboration applications Become a subject matter expert in D2 Configuration capabilities to provide expertise to the field organization as well as to customers and partners Work with the EMC Documentum technology partner ecosystem in all go-to-market areas Work with technical publication organization to ensure that detailed and effective documentation is built to describe product capabilities Develop best practices and troubleshooting information for the product Work closely with Professional Services and partners on solutions being driven by configuration capabilities Communicate key product benefits, vision and roadmap to prospects, customers, and industry analysts and internal EMC audiences Define and communicate product requirements Qualifications Be passionate about creating great products and making customers successful Experience in enterprise software development Experience with Documentum and/or xCP Proven ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences Customer-centric approach with a passion for creating great user experiences. Experience with persona driven requirements definition and user-centered design concepts a plus. Strong communications skills: the candidate must have very strong written and verbal communications skills, from writing collateral and presentations through delivering business concepts and technical concepts to a diverse audience-base Demonstrated drive to get things done, leadership, accountability, problem-solving skills, enthusiasm, and work ethic Team-oriented: candidate must enjoy collaborating with a globally distributed team and be able to both lead and participate in projects Ability to be a self-starter and self motivated Education and Experience Engineering Undergraduate or Master?s degree required MBA is a strong plus 7+ years in product management and/or software development in enterprise-class organizations EMC is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer that values the strength diversity brings to the workplace.
