Supports RMS product lines and programs by managing the lifecycle of assets at subcontractor locations, by ensuring the proper care and control of Government, customer, or company- owned assets used in production and engineering subcontracts. Responsibilities encompass the requisition of assets, recording of assets by coordination with supplier managers, executing the asset inventory and reconciliation plan, supporting the subcontractor system surveillance plan, and ensuring the accounting and proper disposition of the assets. Job Description: Supply Chain Management is seeking a strategic and innovative Principal Administrator to be a part of a dynamic team reporting to the manager in Subcontract Property Management. Ideal candidate will have knowledge of the FAR Government Property requirements (asset management) with a preferred background in subcontracting and auditing. Use and integration of data and information from multiple systems is essential to the selected candidate’s success. Candidate will conduct and attend meetings with internal and external customers to develop solutions to problems of unusual complexity that require ingenuity and innovation, ensuring that solutions are consistent with the RMS Property Management System Plan. Work will be performed without appreciable direction and will exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments in the management of customer assets located at RMS suppliers. This will require an understanding of the prime contract property provisions to ensure subcontract flow down of the appropriate property terms and conditions. Candidate will gather, analyze and report team progress to goals and objectives to management on a monthly basis. Will provide coordination support for team led activities. On a periodic basis will conduct preparations for internal and external audits, and will serve as the process subject matter expert and point of contact during Subcontractor Control audits. Individual may also be required to conduct system reviews for assigned subcontractors’ Property Management System Plan. The successful candidate must be a team player and have the ability to multi-task in a dynamic work environment with shifting priorities and resources. Position requires being actively involved with daily operations to meet goals and objectives. Will serve as consultant to management and act as liaison to external customers. Required Skills (specialized experience/knowledge/skills for this job): This individual must have a working knowledge of Raytheon processes with an emphasis on supply chain and related systems, FAR/DFAR, IPDS, PRISM, UPS, ESD, and SMART. A strong background in Supply Chain Management or asset management with an emphasis on subcontracting and auditing experience is preferred. This individual should be able to execute the Property Management System Plan in relation to assets at subcontractors. Very good communication skills (written and verbal), leadership abilities, and the ability to work in an integrated and matrix team environment. This individual must be a self-starter, capable of achieving organizational and department objectives, and able to interface with all levels of internal management, supplier management, and external customers. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, and Powerpoint) is required.
