Principal QA Engineer

Job Description: Responsibilities: Team member on Raytheon Enterprise Quality Management System Audit Team including: · Conducting, supporting, and leading internal audits for compliance to the AS91xx series of standards including International Accreditation Forum (IAF) guidance documents and International Standards Organization (ISO) accreditation/certification standards across approximately 36 domestic US and 1 Canadian sites · Interface with NQA, Raytheon?s Certification body during site certification/recertification audits to the AS91XX and ISO QMS standards · Trend and provide recommendations for process improvements on nonconformities identified during site audits · This position is not required to be located in Sudbury; the selected candidate can reside anywhere in the domestic US. Basic Qualifications: · Required Education: BS Engineering/Technical or equivalent degree · Minimum 8/ years of relevant experience in quality assurance · Certified to either o Lead Aerospace Auditor (RABQSA) o Lead Quality Management System Auditor (RABQSA or IRCA) o Aerospace Experienced Auditor (AEA or AIEA) (RABQSA or IRCA) o Completed and certified to AATT (Aerospace Auditor Transition Training) · Proficient knowledge and hands on experience with aerospace industry quality management systems and standards · Demonstrated application of audit principles, basic assessment techniques of examining, interviewing/questioning, evaluating and reporting · Demonstrated ability to conduct presentations to varying levels of management · Ability to obtain secret clearance · Willing to travel 50-75% throughout domestic US and Canada Desired Qualifications: Certified to either o Lead Aerospace Auditor (RABQSA) o Lead Quality Management System Auditor (RABQSA or IRCA) o Aerospace Experienced Auditor (AEA or AIEA) (RABQSA or IRCA) Completed and certified to AATT (Aerospace Auditor Transition Training) · ASQ Certified (CQE, CMQ/OE, or CQA) · Existing secret security clearance All these job responsibilities are to be executed in harmony with Raytheon's Code of Business Ethics and Conduct policy which sets the standard by which we operate and how we treat others Raytheon is an equal opportunity employer and considers qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, age, disability, or Vietnam era, or other eligible veteran status, or any other protected factor.
