Description
- Lead the design and architecture of RF/analog mixed-signal design in standard CMOS
- Implement hands-on circuit design, layout, and verification of CMOS circuit blocks, including LNAs, mixers, PLLs, amplifiers, ADC/DACs, filters, and dedicated analog processing circuits.
- Verification of circuits and perform simulations using AMS Designer, SpectreRF, and RFDE/Golden Gate within Cadence IC design suite.
- Perform the layout and verification, including parasitic extraction, using Virtuoso and Assura-based tools.
- Evaluate, measure, debug silicon in the laboratory.
- Communicate simulation results and measurement data to management and design team.
Requirements
- MSEE Minimum, plus 5-8 years of experience in RFIC design; or PhD + 5 years of experience in RFIC design. Solid RF experience is a must.
- A proven track record of designing CMOS RF/Analog circuits manufactured in high volume production that are stable over process, voltage and temperature corners.
- A solid understanding of system-on-a-chip isolation techniques.
- Experience in both designing, and mentoring designers in wireless transceivers building blocks such as LNAs, mixers, oscillators, programmable baseband filters, data converters, bandgap references, biasing circuits, op-amps, regulators, and PLL blocks.
- Strong knowledge of analog signal processing and systems.
- Solid hands-on experience with Cadence based layout, parasitic extraction, and verification of RF circuits.
- Experience with DFT approaches and development of characterization and production teset plans.
- Strong experience in the lab with silicon evaluation, debug, characterization, and bring up.
- Strong knowledge of CMOS technology
- Strong leadership skills
- Effective product-development schedule-management skills
- Excellent communication and technical reporting skills, written and oral.
