Principal – Risk and Investment recruitment
This is the most high profile of the 5 positions being recruited by my client. It will involve in-depth technical investment and risk research and you will operate betwen the risk practice and the investment practice. Through gaining a thorough understanding of the investment strategy, you will carry out due diligence on complex investments and challenge the tactics accordingly. You will review the risk functions of fund managers and keep abreast of macro-economic factors affecting the investment performance. This is a genuinely unique role that will have clear succession planning to a senior management position in the risk and investment practice
This will probably suit someone from either a fund manager or an investment consultancy, who has strong experience of investment strategy and the risk factors within this. Some experience of monitoring fund managers would be particularly useful and multi-asset investment expertise too
