Principal Scientist – Solar
Job Responsibilities:
• Work with a team of hardware / process / software engineers involved in process development integration of our solar cell product line.
• Identify, develop, and manage technologies required for Boron dopant implant, characterization and activation.
• Provide process engineering expertise to support customer tools.
• Be responsible for designing and conducting experiments to develop doping/implant processes for advanced semiconductor processing.
• Generate technical reports and presentations, make presentations to customers as well as at national and international conferences.
• The ideal candidate would have a fundamental understanding of semiconductor physics and microelectronic materials and requires a good understanding of solar cell fabrication and processing.
• A good understanding of materials and their inherent properties is essential so as to enable the candidate in being an hands-on experimentalist.
• Experience in semiconductor process integration, device fabrication and IC manufacture is desired.
• A background in device process modeling and simulations is a plus.
• Ability to investigate feasibility of multiple novel, disruptive concepts is a plus.
• You will work with a team of Scientists, Physicists and Engineers to develop concepts and models to derive proof of concept.
• Additional working experience in an adjacent industry such as photovoltaics, energy storage, MEMS, bio-medical instruments etc. is a big plus.
