Principal/ Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
Job Description We seek an experienced Principal/ Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Minerals Industry team, based in our Mackay office. This stimulating role will see you working to deliver materials handling and fluid flow projects to our diverse client base. As a new position within the Mackay office, this is a great opportunity to build new business and offer new services to our current client base. Key responsibilities will include: Managing and discharging project obligations including preparation of mechanical designs, documentation, reports, costing, contracts and specifications, and provide ongoing technical support during the construction phase, including investigations and inspections in a timely and efficient manner. Developing and maintaining ongoing business relationships with key clients and customers Requirements You will be tertiary qualified in mechanical engineering with significant experience in a design and/ or operational capacity You will have exceptional communications skills, and possess demonstrated commercial acumen and customer focus If you can demonstrate a high level of technical competence and an ability to take accountability for assigned work as well as being flexible in your approach to working as part of a multidisciplinary team then we want to hear from you.
