Principal Strategy Consultant – Leading Financial / Insurance Consultancy
My client is a growing management consulting firm with a global presence, focused primarily on the financial markets and insurance industry. They employ around 50 people worldwide, and are growing fast.
An opportunity exists for a Principal Strategy Consultant to join their business within the London office. The team is responsible for identifying, evaluating and implementing growth opportunities for its global client base.
The Principal Consultant will play a key role within the management team and act as the main point of contact for a number of clients. The successful candidate will be required to manage a portfolio of existing clients.
Required Experience:
- 5-8 years experience in strategy or management consulting to **Insurance** firms, preferably within a ‘Big 4’ type consulting firm
- Strong project management acumen
- Experience in internal or external client project work
- Strong curiosity and experience in developing innovative ideas and client value propositions
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Bachelors Degree
Key responsibilities will involve:
- Management of client projects and overall responsibility for delivery to key clients
- Management of internal and external resources
- Further development of existing client relationships
- Identify and follow up new sales opportunities and leading client meetings
- Taking responsibility for leading the delivery of all elements of project plans.
- Developing an effective team environment with the client and work colleagues
- Overseeing the drafting of client presentations and reports
- Line managing and actively supporting the development of junior consultants
