Principal Systems Engineer

Job Description:

Raytheon Vision Systems (RVS) is admired in the industry for discriminating focal plane arrays based sensor solutions.   The Focal Plane Engineer is the leader responsible for the overall cost, schedule and technical performance of the focal plane assembly.    This includes ROIC processing and test; detector design, processing, and integrated FPA assembly and test.   Specifically, this candidate will be responsible for managing  SiPIN Development programs.  

 

Required Skills:

  • A minimum of eight years professional engineering experience Semiconductor Processing and design in a cleanroom environment

  • Experience with ROIC processing and test;

  • Experience with Detector design and processing Integrated dewar assemblies

  • Advanced Knowledge of Semiconductor fabrication and equipment

  • Ability to do comprehensive Test Data Analysis

  • Experience managing a modern semiconductor foundry

  • Experience with Team Leadership, Integrated Program/Project Planning, Strong and Effective Oral and Written Communication Skills, Technical Writing

     

    Desired Skills:

  • ROIC Design Operation Radiometric Performance Metrics Specifications (Analysis, Flowdown, Writing)

  • Knowledge of Design Verification

  • Knowledge of Design of Experiments

  • Knowledge of Mechanical Drawings

  • Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC)

  • Knowledge of Manufacturing Planning and Non-conforming Material Control

  • Understanding of Yield issues

  • Understanding of Bids and Proposals

  • Raytheon Six Sigma

  • Modeling

  • Configuration and Data Management

  • Quality Management/ISO9000 CAM Certification

     

    Required Education (including Major):

    Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mathematics or Science
