Job Description: To facilitate Invensys learning solutions. Facilitator contributes structure and process to interactions with Invensys customers and staff to achieve exceptional performance with Invensys products and processes. Encourages full participation, promotes mutual understanding and cultivates shared responsibility in the formal and informal learning situations.
This job requires an individual who enjoys learning and who wants to be at the cutting edge of technology. The individual must also be fluent in making technology and usage clear and relevant to technical professionals. Opportunities exist to be a subject matter expert for new exciting technologies. Job requires an individual who considers themselves as a life-long technology learner and is self-motivated to learn new technologies as they are released.
Specific Qualifications:
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must have working knowledge and experience in: Internet Explorer; Microsoft Excel; Microsoft Outlook; Microsoft Word; Microsoft PowerPoint; Windows Operating System.
- Classroom training experience in a technical environment.
- Experience and knowledge of plant operations, e.g., Power, Nuclear, Petrochemical, and the Process industry.
- Communications, networking, (CISCO Certification, e.g.) desired.
- Cyber Security and Active Directory experience desired.
- Microsoft Windows Administration desired.
- Course Development experience and providing teaching materials.
- Understanding of the Adult Learning requirements.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondences and procedure oriented manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to define problems and collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Education/Experience
- Education and/or experience equivalent to a Technical degree is required, Bachelor's degree is preferred.
