Principal/Vice President, Consultant recruitment

Working closely with our Managing Directors, consultants craft consulting reports and presentations for client’s senior management and market research professionals.  In reports and meetings consultants create value through their understanding of the client’s needs and ability to convey the changing landscape of the marketplace through the eyes of the client’s customer.  Consultants generate revenue through cultivating existing relationships and developing new relationships. In addition, consultants manage day to day client related activities working with internal teams to deliver our programs with the utmost quality in the most effective ways.

There are four levels of consultant at Greenwich Associates: Associate, Vice President, Principal and Managing Director. Levels are based upon skills and experience, mastery of the firm’s proprietary research methodology and consulting with clients, revenue generation, and level of responsibility for research management, talent management and strategic / business planning.  In addition the firm seeks to promote individuals who demonstrate great passion and commitment, model impeccable ethical behavior and integrity, possess excellent interpersonal skills, are able to contribute and lead in a collaborative fashion and excel in other key competencies such as relationship building, innovation and decision making.

The Firm is committed to developing consultants with the goal that successful individuals will progress over time to Managing Director with equity ownership. To support that objective, each consultant is assigned a mentor, a senior consultant, to act as a coach and sounding board throughout the consultant’s career with the firm. This relationship is a method of knowledge transfer and shared experiences as well as designed to provide encouragement at various junctures along the career path.

In addition to the introductory training period, there is ongoing exposure to clients throughout the sales, production and delivery cycle reinforced by training modules conducted by internal and external experts in their field.
