THE EMPLOYER: international, award winning bank headquartered in the Middle East that has an established local presence in the countries of the Gulf and the Levant as well as an international presence. Apart from a highly rated platform for investment products and their own real estate funds, they also have an extensive lending portfolio and are used by other private banks to source lending for London real estate. They themselves are very active in lending for the prime London residential sector
THE ROLE: To use private banking experience and relationship skills to capitalise on the regular leads generated by their branches in the Gulf and the Levant to source clients for their London private banking operation. The position is at VP level.
THE PERSON: The person must have
a) Around 5 years experience in private banking, having previously worked extensively with Gulf clients in a private banking or institutional sales role and be capable of building a good rapport with them.
b) Fluent Arabic
c) RDR level 4 qualification for FSA approval purposes (or can show that they will be able to achieve it fairly quickly)
