Private Banker Middle East – Geneva and Luxembourg recruitment

We are exclusively working with our client bank headquartered in Geneva. The bank has developed its network in Switzerland with offices in four other business centers in Switzerland.

• Wealth Management / Private Banking
• Trade Finance
• Corporate Advisory
• Capital Markets (includes MA and advisory to companies investing in emerging markets)
• Part of a world renowned Conglomerate Group present in 32 countries, 10 business sectors, employing 35,000 people

Responsibilities for Senior Private Banker – Geneva:
• Delivering superior client focus, involving an open architecture platform
• Participating in the marketing strategies and business development of new products and keeping up to date with the financial products
• Cross-selling of other department's services to new, and where relevant existing, clients of the Bank
• Responsibility for acquisition, retention and expansion of new and existing clients
• A trusted advisor with the flair of client assessment
• Responsibility for fulfillment of financial objectives and targets by acquisition, sales and all relationship activities
• Developing managing a portfolio of clients from the MENA region
• The individual will provide advice and be responsible for preparation of customers investment proposals

Requirements for the Senior Private Banker:
• The ideal candidate will have strong client relationship and negotiation skills
• Strong personal credibility and ability to establish relationships with ease
• Confidence when dealing with sophisticated clients and complex investment portfolios
• Conscientious individual with a high level of attention to detail and care
• Entrepreneurial flare and a high level of commitment to the role
• Able to execute complex investment strategies on behalf of clients
• Ideally of graduate or MBA caliber, private client qualifications like CFA a plus
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral which enhances collaboration within a team and to build and maintain professional business relationships
