Overview:
Harris Fraser has 21 years of experience meeting the needs of wealthy clients. Private Wealth Management operates in Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore and China. In addition to exceptional Private Wealth Management advice and service, clients enjoy access to all the global resources and investment products of our investment bank and hedge fund partners.
Harris Fraser (Hong Kong) has its own custody and research capabilities and is partnered as an external asset manager with several private banks to utilize their custody, brokerage and research capabilities to combine a truly non-conflicted service for UHNW and Family Office clients. Deal making is often facilitated by inter-family office transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing of PWM advisory services to UHNW and Family Office clients across all listed and unlisted asset classes;
- Create liability driven and high certainty of outcome portfolios to meet client needs;
- Onboard current client AUM to one of our several in-house or private bank platforms to increase profitability for the client and manager;
- Idea generation to create deal flow between family office clients, matching strategic family interests to advisory capabilities and transactions to maximise client profit opportunities;
- Maintain markets and legal knowledge and an ability to identify the impact of change;
- Carry out regular reviews of client portfolio's and risk metrics.
You will have:
- A polished and intricate understanding of financial markets across asset classes;
- Good awareness of tax rules for non-domiciled clients;
- A thorough understanding of private bank products;
- One or more of the following qualifications: IMC, CFA, CFP, CPA, CA or CIMA;
- Proactive approach to work and problem solving to run your business;
- Immediate profitability and the ability to run your own business in a flat management structure:
- Private Banker or Client Adviser service level of min. $50m
- Senior Financial Adviser service level of min. $35m
- Independent Financial (private practice) Adviser service level of min. $20m
You will be:
- A current Private Banker, Senior Financial Adviser or Independent Financial Adviser with AuM described in the above minimum service levels;
- A strong team player who enjoys working in a target driven and client servicing environment;
- An excellent communicator;
- Client focused;
- Proactive, professional, compliant, act with integrity and illustrate client and markets knowledge.
You will receive the ability to:

- Service your clients in an independent way like never before;
- Create profitability from several private bank platforms and institutional trading desks;
- Create profitability from non-bank inter-office deal flow such as property, private equity, infrastructure and hedge fund co-investment or seeding;
