Private Banking – Business Analyst – contractor (10 months). recruitment

The Private Banking Operations APAC Project Team is looking for an experienced Business Analyst (BA), based in Singapore. As the Business Analyst, you will be supporting the Regional Project Manager in the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) Project implementation for Operations across APAC, covering the entire project lifecycle. Worksing with the subject matter experts, you will be responsible for the collation and documentation of business requriements, as-is and future processes, developing data migration concept and test scenarios, supporting user acceptance testing and project deployment activities.

- Systematically collect and document business requirements, prioritise and validate them with all relevant stakeholders, considering their overall impact on clients and processes
- Analyse problem/objective, support the design and recommend solution options
- Collect and document end-to-end process flows: as-is current situation and target future solution, considering regulatory requirements, internal controls, data management and impact on clients
- Support the project along its entire lifecycle (requirements with business and IT, testing, deployment, post-implementation)
- Develop a data migration concept and testing scenarios in collaboration with stakeholders and subject matter experts, define required test data
- Support users in testing activities
- Participate in design, planning and execution of business deployment activities
- Support FATCA Operations Project Manager in developing integrated Project Management Plan
- Support FATCA Operations Project Manager in all project related and ad-hoc tasks

- Knowledge of Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) would be preferred, though not essential.
- Previous business analysis and project implementation experience (IT and/or Business process change projects) preferred, is a definite advantage
- Experience in conducting workshops
- Good university degree, strong command of oral and written English
- Good understanding of Operations processes and Wealth Management products
- Very systematic, structured, strives for excellence
- Able to question and challenge to identify root cause of problem, recommend appropriate resolution
- Good communicator, comfortable with Stakeholders and various levels of seniority
- Proactive self-starter and able to work independently
- Good team player
