Private Banking – Business Analyst – International Data Warehouse recruitment
ROLE SUMMARY:
The International Data Warehouse team is looking for a business analyst to join its growing team in APAC. This platform is reponsible for the MIS reporting of the largest locations of Credit Suisse as Singapore, Hong Kong, UK or US. Mandate of the team is to transform data from the local systems within the international locations of Credit Suisse into information used within COO as well as in other departments across the bank. The role itself comprises the analysis within all phases of the project lifecycle as well as the support within the month end closing. The role holder will understand the business needs in the locations and modeling the corresponding to-be processes as well as developing the resulting specifications for the subsequent implementation activities on the business and IT side
THE ROLE INVOLVES:
- The role holder will understand the business needs and modeling the corresponding to-be processes as well as developing the resulting specifications for the subsequent implementation activities on the business and IT side.
- Consolidation and prioritization of business requirements of local controllers in the international locations as well as of central business in Switzerland.
- Act as link between the technical and the business teams to streamline conversion of business needs into business requirements to be designed and implemented by the IT team of iDWH.
- Supports related architecture decisions and work with IT to find the most appropriate ways to change the existing IT environment to accommodate the necessary changes.
- Gains good understanding of the MIS data transformation in iDWH. From underlying data in the source system of the location until the reporting in the MIS systems of Credit Suisse (including the data flow and mappings through the international DWH platform0029.
- Provides data analysis, gaps identification and investigation through all phases of the project lifecycle including production support.
- Coordination and support to the business users in the UAT phase of iDWH releases to ensure that the overall quality of the platform.
TO QUALIFY, YOU MUST POSSESS:
University degree in Business Administration, IT or related
1-2 years of experience in a financial institution as business analyst
IT afinity - experienced in the area of Data Warehouse, SQL knowledge as asset
Strong communication skills and team spirit
Strong sense of ownership, working independently and taking initiative
Strong numerical , analytical and problem solving skills, professional scepticism
Ability to work under pressure and high level of flexibility
Ability to work in an international multi-cultural environment
Good MS Office knowledge, particularly in Excel;
Fluent in English, German as a plus
