Private Banking Client Service Officer (Commodity Trade Finance) – AVP recruitment

THE ROLE INVOLVES:
Main tasks of the Client Service Officer are the following:

1. Pitching for new transactions
2. Transaction handling (preparation of transaction documents for the approval process; data input into Trade Track and position maintenance; collection and checking of transactional documents; liaison with LC department, payment services, brokers; releases of goods and original documents respectively sign-off for document releases; rolling of fixed advances, cash placements and cash management; forex transactions; introduction letters, confirmation to auditors
3. Preparation of limit excess requests and one-off modifications in the transactional structure
4. Renewal of existing credit lines (balance sheet analysis and discussions with clients, joint calls with Key Account Management Team and CRM in that respect, overall and sub-limit increases and minor changes to the transactional structure (extension of warehouse durations, payment terms)
5. Assisting Key Account Manager in analyzing client's potential
6. Preparing client discussion together with the KAM and going with him on clients visits if requested
7. Ensuring follow-up of clients discussion together with the KAM
8. Taking advantage of sales opportunities in daily business
9. Providing client contact point in all operational matters
10. Account management responsibility for accounts with credit balances (relationships without credit facilities) - if allocated - and accounts required for back-to-back operations
11. Account opening, collection and checking of basis documentation
12. System data maintenance (adaptation of interest rates etc.)
13. Fee calculations and invoicing
14. Various administrative tasks as requested by the Team Heads

TO QUALIFY, YOU MUST POSSESS:

1. Degree graduate with min 3-5 years of experience in a similar role 

2.Understanding of the international commodity trade is preferred (modus operandi, documents involved)
3. Solid financial analysis knowledge
3. Previous experience in a client service role with strong understanding of documentation, KYC experience.
