Skills:·
Knowledge and experience of private banking practice
Knowledge and understanding of Client Money regulation and management.· Experienced in taking and perfecting security (principally charge over stocks/shares/ISA/cash).·
Ability to ensure that provision of departmental services, including proficiency in client loan administration, client money administration and IT systems
Job description
To support both the Director of Banking, in delivering an efficient service to clients and the Associate Director, Banking Administration in assessing, delivering and controlling the departments administrative affairs and client lending
Key responsibilities
Loans/Overdrafts/Undertakings·
Evaluate requests for credit and undertakings on behalf of clients, obtaining approval in line with policy.·
Prepare facility documentation
Manage existing facilities and prepare reports as required.
Client Money Management -
Daily calculations, checking/monitoring; authorisation of client funds movements; review and recommend movements aiding client money pool diversification).
Responsible for the maintenance up to date of key management information and daily circulation of Key Tracking Indicators.
Review daily derivative position reports
Collate CASS Resolution Pack updates
Maintain and review risk registers (Banking and Derivatives)
