Private Banking – Senior Equity Structurer
As an Executive Director/ Managing Director you will work with the Investment Bank , Asset Management divisions, and other Client Facing Employees to identify solutions meeting specific investment needs of UHNWI’s.
The Investment Solutions team works closely with the product groups regionally and globally, ( including structuring and trading ), to source interesting investment opportunities. The team aims to provide UHNWI’s, (potentially the most sophisticated of the clientele), with differentiating products and services following a customized and solution driven approach, other than the typical off-the-shelf standardized offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- To provide insights into institutional client flows globally, you will be also in constant dialogue with specialists in the various divisional sales units from both Fixed Income and Equities.
- Together with other PB units and control functions, you will bring innovative ideas and solutions to the attention of the demanding and high potential client base, with careful consideration of risk/reward, suitability and regulatory requirements.
- You will establish smooth working relationship with responsible RM’s and/or IC’s on co-coverage of clients
- You will have sufficient product knowledge as the “go-to person” on cross-product, cross divisional mandate
- You will demonstrate awareness and adherence to strictest regulatory and compliance requirements
Requirements
- Presentable team player with strong inter-personal skills
- Previous direct dealings with ultimate decision makers (not only intermediaries/distributors) - it is paramount that you have interacted with UHNWI business owners and family office heads in a previous role.
- Technical and quantitative experience in structured, customized solutions
- 8 years+ with top tier bank
- Asian client knowledge
- Strong preference: Asian language (e.g., Mandarin)
- They have recently taken on an Executive Director with fixed income knowledge. Thus an Equity focus would be highly desirable
- Relocation available for London based candidates with Asian Language
