Private Banking Technology – Technical Analyst/Developer recruitment

Our Singapore office is currently looking for creative and dynamic professionals for its Technology department. The Technology department is connected to the Technology Operations Hub based in Geneva which services JPMorgan's international private banking business (Europe, Middle East, Africa, Latin America and Asia). The Technology department is responsible for application delivery, Business and Operations support projects.

The position summary:
The Technical Analyst/Developer is responsible for the development and delivery of Technology solutions to business issues. It includes full systems project life cycles activities, such as analyzing and documenting business requirements, modelling and designing solutions, testing and implementing bug fixes and new features. The candidate will have a central position on the technology platform, working closely with the Support Team, business analysts and other developers.

Key responsibilities:
- Analyze and coordinate development of bug fixes and enhancements to business-related applications (trading, reporting, client management,...)
- Assume ownership of particular applications
- Work with the support teams to define priorities
- Ensure that deliveries follow standards, guidelines and steps as defined in the development methodology
- Participate in the user acceptance testing and training of new implementations (including the supervision and preparation of user documentation)

Skills

General and technical skills:
- University degree in an IT-related discipline
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience
- Technical skills: Java or C#, Visual Basic, Perl; SQL, Transact-SQL; Actuate, Crystal Reports

Knowledge:
Knowledge of the different financial instruments is desirable although training will be given to the right person. Experience in a support and/or development role, particularly in a trading environment with a math/analytic background, security industry business knowledge for example Equities, Fixed Income and derivatives would be a plus.
