Private Banking - Internal Auditor, Manager
A leading Private Bank based in Canary Wharf is looking for an Internal Auditor to join the highly experienced team in assisting with the strategic review of internal controls and functions.
Within this role you will be responsible for providing independent assurance over multiple business units. There will be extensive interaction with senior stakeholders globally, presenting you with the opportunity to provide advice and guidance on the effectiveness of current internal controls in line with market trends.
Key responsibilities will include:
*Plan, execute and manage global audit assignments
*Lead discussions with key stakeholders in line with control and process reviews
*Promote risk awareness across the organisation
*Support and manage the implementation of new control processes
Key requirements:
*Professional accounting qualification, ideally with Big 4 training
*Previous experience in either private banking or wealth management
*Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills
*Proven track record of delivering audits on time and in budget
As this position will have a global remit there will be a requirement to travel 50%
