Private Client Associate recruitment

The successful candidate will work closely with two Senior Managing Directors, a Senior Vice President and another Associate with a large and complex portfolio to provide a professional and superior level of client service to wealthy individuals and families; support for prospective client marketing efforts; and assist in building the market presence of the Firm.  

Responsibilities include: executing the asset allocation plan;  rebalancing the plan as required;   researching the impact of transitioning between managers, portfolios and strategies; opening accounts and transferring assets; handling the routine requirements of client service such as wire transfers and required distributions. Knowledge of both traditional and non-traditional asset classes is required.  The position requires an individual with a diverse set of skills – interpersonal, communication, organizational, technical with an emphasis on quantitative and analytical skills.  Qualified candidates will possess initiative and drive, the ability to achieve credibility with clients, and composure and enthusiasm.  All are essential for success in the position.  

2-5 years of investment management, brokerage, or private banking experience required to qualify for this position.  Proficiency in Excel and Word are required.  Bachelor’s degree with a solid foundation in finance or accounting is required. 

There is significant contact with high net worth individuals and their advisors.  The Associate must possess excellent verbal and written communication and organization skills.  Strong attention to detail, math aptitude, and the ability to multi-task are critical.
