PRIVATE CLIENT INVESTMENT MANAGER recruitment
This role reports to the Head of Private Clients Charities. It is responsible for the management of a portfolio of private client and/or charity clients and for driving the development of business in this area. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of clients including leading the relationship management, portfolio management and all aspects of servicing of these clients. They will be expected to maintain the highest standards of service and developing business from existing clients, new clients and referral sources. The role holder must have strong relationship management skills, will be results focussed and understand the need to grow their portfolio through a proactive approach. All of this will be under pinned by the values they hold towards providing exceptional service to the company’s existing clients.
Core Responsibilities:
- Management of a portfolio of private clients and charities.
- Operating efficient and compliant processes.
- Developing business and optimising the contacts and referral opportunities from the client base and others including intermediaries via networking.
- Managing the client relationships and ensuring an optimum level of client retention.
- Ensuring the knowledge base is maintained including attending appropriate investment meetings.
- Presenting the company and its investment performance to existing and potential clients and referral partners.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Gaining referrals, business development and growing the existing portfolio.

- Private Client Investment Management experience within a similar environment.
Core Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience of client facing responsibilities (as primary client manager)
- Graduate /qualified to level 6 CISI or level 7 CFA.
- Highly experienced in private client and/or charity investment management.
- Track record in providing excellent client service and in business development.
