The Team:

Our Private Client's Assurance practice provides high quality assurance and audit advice to a range of privately owned businesses and high net worth individuals. Due to organic growth we are seeking a Senior Manager for the Sydney Assurance practice. You will have completed a post-graduate accounting qualification (CA equivalent) and have had exposure to high net worth individuals and emerging businesses. You will present with outstanding communication skills, have a proven track record in developing effective client relationships and a motivation to achieve. We are also seeking individuals wishing to apply their practical skills and experience to clients across a broad range of sectors.

Key responsibilities:

· External auditing and statutory reporting for privately-owned businesses and high net worth individuals

· Researching and providing advice to clients in relation to financial reporting

· Day to day management of clients

· Addressing client requests for assistance on a timely basis

· Manage, supervise and coach junior staff and report directly to the Melbourne Practice Partners

Key skills/experience required:

· Relevant tertiary qualifications and a post-graduate accounting qualification (CA equivalent)

· Solid technical knowledge of accounting standards

· An ability to establish and maintain excellent client relations

· An ability to demonstrate an understanding of commercial issues faced by clients

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Strong time management skills and well-developed research and problem solving skills

· High professional standards

· Experience in managing audit teams

· An ability to identify potential sales or value-add opportunities.
