Services are specialized to help clients mitigate risks across an overall risk spectrum. We are currently seeking an Account Relationship Director to join us in our New York office.
As a Financial Due Diligence professional, youll provide buy-side merger, acquisition, and divestiture support, focusing on stakeholder value by identifying key risks and benefits early in the transaction life cycle. This support includes pre-bid assessments; financial, tax, commercial, and information systems due diligence; as well as integration risk assessments, and accounting and tax transaction advisory services.
Responsibilities:
-Develop relationships with C-level executives, functional corporate development managers and directors, and alumni at assigned and/or other accounts primarily in New York
-Follow-up on leads and manage the overall relationship building process
-Coordinate relationship building activities with appropriate Partners, Engagement Managers, subject-matter professionals and other KPMG personnel on the engagement team(s) in an effort to develop broad and effective relationships
-Meet specific business relationship goals at assigned accounts and report and measure progress against goals with national/area/industry leadership and performance manager
-Manage the business opportunities at assigned and/or other accounts to help ensure KPMG is positioned to capitalize on opportunities by providing high quality services
Qualifications:
-Ten years of demonstrated industry, subject matter related experience in a position(s) requiring the management of corporate accounts
-Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in business or a related field
-Five years of high-end accounting/finance, financial due diligence, and/or Advisory background
-Ability to demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills that have resulted in business relationships of trust, confidence and results
-Experience in formal account management and/or prior account leadership positions
-Experience developing and leading relationship building activities with C- Level (CEO, CFO, CIO, Tax Directors, HR Vice Presidents) executives and functional corporate development managers and directors
