The Opportunity
Our client is the fund administration arm of a well established banking group with operations worldwide. Due to further growth, the firm has a rare opportunity for a Private Equity Accountant at their Luxembourg office. Reporting directly into the Head of Fund Accounting, you will be responsible for the workflows specific to both Private Equity and Real Estate fund clients. You will be supervising a team of four accountants beneath you. As you will be leading the team, you will be the main point of contact for your clients, liaising with Finance Directors and Financial Controllers on a regular basis. You will be working closely with the other departments within the firm who will provide administrative support for the clients you will be dealing with.
Your Profile
The client is looking to meet with candidates who have several years of either private equity or real estate fund accounting experience. As you will be managing a team of four, some managerial experience is a must for this position. The client is looking to meet with candidates who have a solid understanding of in-depth transactions (private equity/real estate). The office is an English-speaking one, although there are lots of languages spoken additionally within the office. The client is looking for someone to start in April, so the shorter your notice period, the better. If you have any German language skills, this would put you at a distinct advantage.
