Private Equity Accountant – Debt Funds – German Speaker recruitment
The Opportunity
Due to further growth, our client, a global fund administration business, has a rare created opportunity for a German speaking Fund Accountant at their Luxembourg office. The firm currently has 50 employees and are growing their Luxembourg presence. Working as part of a close-knit team, you will be preparing financial statements for the Private Equity portion of a portfolio of complex debt funds. You will also be liaising with the client on a regular basis, the documentation for which will be in German. You will be working closely with the other departments within the firm who will provide administrative support for the clients you will be dealing with.
Your Profile
The client is looking to meet with candidates fluent in German, who have (ideally) either private equity or real estate fund accounting experience. Preferably, you will be either part qualified or recently qualified (ACCA/CA/ACA). The client would ideally like to meet with candidates who have done full-cycle accounts as opposed to purely NAVs. Likewise, if you have covered debt funds previously, this will put you at a distinct advantage. If you have worked in a practice firm, and have then moved into Financial Services, this background would be well suited for this role. Likewise, the client will expect you to have strong interpersonal skills. The office is an English-speaking one, although there are lots of languages spoken additionally within the office.
