Private Equity Accountant recruitment

Our client is an established, European, multibillion, Private Equity investor with a long standing track record. They make investments in a broad range of assets in the secondary market in addition to managing a number of co-investment structures. They seek to hire an accountant into their team due to increased levels of investment activity.

Reporting directly into the Head of Fund Accounting your role will encompass aspects of both corporate and fund accounting. Primarily, you will be responsible for the reporting and administration of a portfolio of Private Equity investments in addition to assisting with the production of statutory and management accounts for the corporate entity.

Key responsibilities include:

• Month end statutory and investor reporting

• Assisting with the preparation of annual statutory accounts

• Responding to client queries

• Maintaining the general ledger

• Ad hoc project work as required

Candidate profile:

To be successful in your application you must be able to demonstrate the following:

• Fully qualified accountant ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA with a strong academic record

• Previous/ current knowledge of Private Equity fund structures and associated reporting requirements.

• Working knowledge of Investran and/ or SUN accounts is highly desirable.

• Comfortable working in a flat structure where flexibility can be required.
