Private Equity Administration Manager
Reporting in to the Administrative Partner, the Operations Manager will be responsible for providing support to the business on a variety of tasks including:
Regulatory and Compliance:
- Assisting with assessment and monitoring of portfolio company environmental, social and governance (“ESG”) standards
- Assisting with preparation of annual ESG report
- Assisting with various compliance tasks
- Responsible for KYC document collection and sanctions list checks
HR:
- Managing the work visa process
- Maintaining personnel records
- Maintaining a register of staff directorships
- Reviewing HR regulations and maintaining steps for their observance
- Supporting performance management process
General Legal Matters:
- Collection of and record-keeping with respect to NDAs and engagement letters
- Proof reading administrative/housekeeping tasks
- Maintaining legal documentation records
- Reviewing health safety, data protection etc regulations and maintain steps for their observance.
Operations:
- Maintaining various databases and ensuring procedures documented and followed
- Record-keeping and minute-taking
- Working closely with fund administrators to ensure compliance with fund documentation requirements and notifications made to various parties
- Assisting with IT management
- Ad-hoc projects and research
This is a highly entrepreneurial environment and requires flexibility, commitment and a “hands on” approach to operations. The candidate must be both self-motivated as well as an independent thinker and be able to display a strong attention to detail, strong grasp of numeracy and be able to prioitise workload. Although Private Equity experience is not essential, experience of working in a boutique/entrepreneurial financial services environment is very important.
