Private Equity Associate recruitment
The Associate position will include a mixture of tasks;
- Working with the investment team to raise funds from institutional investors such as banks, insurance companies, hedge funds, mutual funds
- Performing financial accounting and reporting tasks and helping the investment team to prepare financial statements.
- Develop a wide variety of analysis to facilitate financing and investment decisions, helping senior management appraise companies or sectors in which the firm wants to invest
- Carry out financial and valuation analysis for all types of private equity.
- Evaluate and execute transactions in the upstream and downstream value chain.
- Sourcing, originating, structuring and executing a diverse range of investment transactions.
Desired Skills and Experience;
3 - 5+ years of relevant experience preferably in Private Equity or working for top tier Investment Bank, SWF or Management Consulting firm.
-MBA degree or equivalent from a top tier business school or university, preferably with a CFA or similar financial qualification.
-Direct MA experience is preferred.
-Must be competent in accountancy, with strong modeling experience and excellent attention to detail.
-Fundraising experience is a plus.
-Project management experience is a plus.
-Strong written and oral communications skills.
-Extremely proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
-Strong analytical and financial skills.
-Very detailed oriented.
-Arabic or other Middle Eastern language preferred.
