Private Equity Fund of Fund – Investment Director recruitment
The position is with one of the highest rated Private equity Fund of Fund firms in Paris which have offices globally. You will work directly with the managing director and founder of the firm, and lead a team of 7 investment professionals. The firm excels in bringing investors closer to regional and local funds that in many cases would not be as easy to source, which in many cases, outperform most of the larger funds in Europe. They also believe that their investment professionals should concentrate on doing what they do best, therefore they have always outsourced their private equity allocation needs, on the due diligence, reporting, and follow up side, thus making valued economic and time savings. This role will see you working alongside the Founder of the firm whom has over 19 years experience and has made some close relationships with some of the top private equity clients across Europe.
Key responsibilities and previous experience will include:
• Fund Selection
• Monitoring of recommended funds
• Sitting on investment committee with vito rights
• Meetings with representatives from asset management firms and Private Equity fund managers to exchange ideas
• Build and present investment cases, produce fund related research and articles for various publications
• Presentations in weekly internal investment meeting
• Subject matter expert in client meetings regarding funds
• Improvements of fund selection, monitoring process and fund raising activities.
• Extensive support for relationship managers
Other requirements:
• 5-8 years in Private equity Fund of Funds
• +4 years experiences within private equity or alternative investments.
• French Speakers
• Excellent communication and business development skills
• Senior and charismatic personality
