Private Equity Investment Analysts
The successful candidate's day to day role will involve.
• Participating in identifying, evaluating, negotiating, closing and monitoring PE investments in Secondaries,
• Carrying out characteristics, comparative and style analysis of prospective and current managers.
• Contributing to ongoing strategy analysis by analyzing different types of fund strategies
• Analysis offunds' Private Placement Memoranda and carries out hands-on, in-depth qualitative quantitative evaluation from due diligence towards the preparation of the investment memoranda and beyond, including conducting thorough legal due diligence with the internal/external legal advisors in
relation to any fund terms or issues before commitment, handling negotiations with any fund manager with respect to fund terms or any other matter, etc.
• Carrying out off-site and on-site due diligence visits
• Participating in managing the relationships relating to the Private Equity portfolio of funds
• Participating in formulating the investment strategy regarding Secondaries, portfolio planning and investment processes and laying down the PED's infrastructure.
• Attending internal meetings with fund managers and senior management team as required.
• Preparing material and questions for meetings and manager conferences, and prepares reports on all advisory board meetings.
• Demonstrating sound understanding of the different asset classes in private equities, risk/return attributes to PE and the main elements to construct a well diversified PE portfolio.

The successful candidate will have the following background;
• University Degree (BA or MA), preferably in Business or related field (MBA preferred Experience)
•Good track record ofrelevant work experience gained in Investment Banking/Consulting and in a Private Equity firm covering developed markets.
• Knowledge of internal database relevant to Private equity and department data from the Venture Economics and Cambridge websites' database
• Ability to read and thoroughly understand legal documents and ability to coordinate with legal advisors
• Thorough understanding of standard fund terms
• Ability to interpret statistics of PE benchmark data and calculate financial ratios (capacity to calculate IRR, mean, median , mode, variance, etc)
• Understands the different type of funds strategy and different asset classes in PE
• Basic knowledge of Modern Portfolio Theory and understanding of risk/return attributes
• Understands how the businesses around invested companies operate in their respective markets
