Private Equity – Investment Manager

 

The major challenge of the role is expanding operations coming off the back of a series of acquisitions. International experience would put a qualified candidate in a strong position.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Structuring financing of transactions (debt/equity) – entry and exit

• Proven track record in achieving corporate growth targets

• Excellent presentation skills and an ability to operate as a company ambassador, leading presentations on large national and international projects

• Proactive and competitive with a winning attitude

• A proven track record in operational expansion

· Managing modelling deals/investment analysis

· Preparing IC papers

· Managing DD process

· Providing critique of op-co financials/performance

Responsibilities will include:

Strategy Planning - lead strategic operations planning to achieve business goals for optimum delivery of services and efficiency in all locations.

Development, Test Delivery - ensure effective deployment of delivery team resources and optimal working practices.

Quality - build a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement within the Company

Operational Management Leadership - support and encourage effective working relationships within the operations team while understanding the associated cultural differences / motivators.

Investment Research - Identify and analyse each business, including markets, trends, trading, financial stability and proposed returns to investors. This should be accomplished by attending meetings and conference calls, speaking with analysts and brokers, and reviewing accounts and announcements.

Experience Qualifications:

·      Business/ Management Degree or proven experience

·      Extensive experience in delivery management

·      Experience and understanding of Project governance, including different project methodologies

·      Proven management experience including significant experience in management of personnel

·      Experience in workflow analysis and the re-engineering of business processes

·      First class written documentation reporting skills, verbal and presentation communication skills

·      Current knowledge of industry standards for operations

·      Budgeting and reporting skills

·      Team Player

·      Driven and detail conscious

·      Organised and efficient

·      Ability to work on deadlines

·      Good interpersonal skills
