The Role

Bloomberg is looking for a data research representative with excellent communication, multi-tasking, research, and customer focus skills for the Private Equity MA data product. A keen interest in private equity and venture capital markets is essential. Responsibilities include expanding data coverage and analysis for private equity in EMEA, interacting with global PE/MA analysts, building relationships with private equity firms and MA advisors, and managing timely accurate updates for the private equity market. The team works closely with Sales, News, and Research and Development as part of the on-going product development in a time-sensitive environment.

Responsibilities

- Updating and processing data onto the Bloomberg database in a timely manner
- Maintaining and enhancing the existing database
- Responding to client queries regarding the data within the EMEA

Requirements:

- Fluency in English, plus an additional European language is essential
- Bachelors degree ideally in a finance/ accounting related topic and/ or equivalent work experience
- Keen interest in financial markets
- In depth understanding of equity markets, private equity and vernture capital required.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience of processing data is desirable
- CFA is a plus
