Private Equity Opportunity – Metals & Mining, Natural Resources Associates.Location – TBD recruitment
The Role
The role will involve the following:
• Leading an analyst team in delivering in-depth valuation and financial analyses;
• Identification and evaluation of investment opportunities, including attending meetings with management teams and brokers and conferences;
• Supporting corporate transactions in both public and private markets, including executing due diligence and attending site visits;
• Management and monitoring of investments, including analysis of business performance and development of strategic initiatives and management tools;
• Development of presentations, company and industry briefings and reports; and
• Company and industry research.
The Individual
The successful candidates will have the following:
• At least four years of experience in private equity, management consulting, corporate finance, corporate positions within industry, equity research or investment banking.
• Excellent valuation, financial modelling and analytical skills;
• Effective managerial skills, with a track record of successfully managing multiple projects and leading small teams;
• Considerable experience in drafting reports and presentations, and excellent business English;
• Experience in evaluating and setting business strategy;
• Outstanding interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to develop and maintain business relationships;
• Experience in and knowledge of industrials, with a preference for the mining sector/natural resource sector; and
• A thorough understanding of research techniques.
