Private Equity Real Estate Investment Professional
In this position you will be responsible for assessing, executing and monitoring private real estate transactions, with a particular focus on secondary investments. Your tasks will include:
- Perform quantitative and qualitative due diligence on prospective real estate investments as well as monitoring current investments
- Perform various tasks related to product reporting, market research, internal requests and marketing efforts
- Be part of deal teams and write investment recommendations
- Support capital raising initiatives including management and analysis of internal databases and deal statistics
For this challenging position, we are looking for a person who works well in a very entrepreneurial organization, someone who is a self-starter and possesses strong networking and organization skills. The successful candidate should have the following profile:
- Top academic credentials (Master/MBA/CFA preferred), with a coursework emphasis on Accounting, Finance, Economics and/or Real Estate
- 2-4 years of work experience in the private real estate market with a leading player
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal and written communication skills and a strong desire
to learn and succeed - Thorough knowledge of Word and Excel (modeling skills required) and the ability to conduct research
- Strong written and oral communications skills
- Be proactive on assignments/projects and demonstrate initiative
- Able to complete projects on time and accurately and be able to multi-task
- Strong work ethic, professional demeanor and appearance
