As part of the investment team, you will be responsible for contributing to the deal process by producing first class quantitative and qualitative research of investment ideas, opportunities and areas to develop
• My client is looking for an Associate who will be able develop their own network and footprint within South East Asian clients
• The role will be transaction focussed with a strong push for those who are execution focussed
• The coverage will be South East Asian, focusing upon both individual companies as well as other funds and existing portfolios
• You will also be involved in the deal structuring and execution, post deal monitoring and potential deal sourcing
The secondary market is one of the fastest growing areas of Private Equity with a huge amount of opportunity to allow one to increase their exposure to all types of markets and sectors - this role is within a market leading firm who are looking to grow and are willing to look at individuals from a range of backgrounds.
Ideally you will be a fluent Cantonese or Mandarin speaker who is willing to relocate to Hong Kong in the future 1-2yrs time.
• Excellent academic background
• Significant investment experience either on the advisory side or buy side
• Previous transaction history is essential, as is strong execution experience
• First class analytical and numerical skills
• Fluency in another European language is preferable in addition to fluency in Cantonese or Mandarin
