Private Wealth Management – Sales Assistant (Munich) recruitment

Responsibilities Include:

• Executing security trades and foreign exchange transactions.

• Opening and closing of new accounts (gathering information, sending out information).

• Cash management – foreign exchange, investing in cash alternatives, cash transfers.

• Checking positions, balances.

• Reviewing previous day’s activity.

• Trade settlement.

• Cash / stock transfers.

• Checking commission runs.

• Liaising with operations.

• Ensuring all corporate actions are dealt with on a timely basis.

• General client service – account, research, market information.

• Co-ordinating Broker’s business trips – to include travel, itineraries and expenses.

• Preparation and co-ordination of client marketing material.

• Copying / faxing / filing / mailing – client statements and research.

• Monitoring and management of all fee billing.

• Maintenance of all client files containing pertinent country specific documentation.

• Management of client correspondence.

• Monitoring and management of all alternative investment communication.

• Follow up with clients regarding missing, expired, outdated documents.

• Close co-ordination with local Branch Administration.

• Ensure implementation of new or revised policies and procedures.

• Monitoring of advisory client positions / portfolios.

Skills Required:

• Degree educated or equivalent.

• Experience/interest within a similar role in the Equity or Fixed Income business would be an advantage.

• Fluency in English and German is essential.

• Computer literacy, especially Excel or PC spreadsheet applications and PowerPoint.

• Articulate communication, both written and verbal.

• Proven creative approach to problem solving.

• Proven administrative skills.

• Attention to detail.

• Active interest in financial markets.

• Enthusiastic, self-starter.
