Senior Security Specialist will m onitor and manage security programs and provide status reports and recommendations for decisions. Will assist, collaborate, and coordinate with other Sponsor Security offices and divisions and develop solutions conveying them to internal and external Customers. Will p rovide agency level technical expertise concerning the identified Security disciplines. Will provide security guidance to contractors using DoD and IC regulations and requirements along with analyzing complex data and making appropriated program recommendations. Will prepare cost analyses for security projects. Will monitor security applications through the review and analysis appropriate metrics, maintaining required records. Will prepare and disseminate security procedures/guidance. Will investigate and prepare impact statements, and provide recommendations on security/security violations, providing guidance as required in implementing security requirements. Will manage project milestones, along with updating and maintaining appropriate records (e.g. database and hard copy) of security actions. · Will be required to c onduct self inspections and provide reports to Customer Security. Will act as liaise with members of the DoD, the IC and other officials as required to keep abreast of current personnel. Will interpret security policy on matters pertaining to processing, dissemination, and control of classified materials, acting as liaison between Sponsor and other federal agencies and contractors. Will prepare both SCI and collateral materials for shipment to other agencies/sites IAW applicable security handling procedures. Will prepare outgoing classified messages on employees/ contractor visiting other government facilities. Responsible for risk management, conducting surveys and rendering impact statements or recommendations. Will prepare and deliver briefings to internal and external customers with ability to use various forms of correspondence. Will develop the required program/operation to support tasks/requirements. Must apply experience in supporting security concepts, principles and principles and practices to analyze and resolve difficult and complex security issues. Requirements: · US Citizenship with an active and current TS/SCI with a Full Scope Poly · Must have 6+ years of applicable Security experience in a similar environment. · Must have expertise in one or more of the following Security disciplines; personnel, physical/industrial, computer investigations, and operations. · Must be comfortable with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Good oral and written communications skills · Proven ability to adapt changing work environments as needed to be successful · Proven ability to successfully work under pressure · Well organized and able to prioritze on a daily basis Desired Skills: · Team player · Ability to brief not only executive audiences, but all levels of workforce · Great presentation skills Required Education (including Major): · Bachelors Degree related to Security and/or Business Management; equivalent experience in military, civil or Industrial Security will be considered in lieu of degree (BS degree = 8 years of applicable additional experience) Raytheon is an equal opportunity employer and considers qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, age, disability, or Vietnam era, or other eligible veteran status, or any other protected factor.
