Process Design and Reengineering Manager, Vice President recruitment

Our client is a major bank with a strong footprint in the region. It is now seeking to recruit a dynamic Process Design Reengineering Manager.

The Bank intends to develop standardized operating processes leveraging off a technology refresh program, which includes the implementation of new systems to provide imaging and workflow capabilities to operations. This position is a core member of a strategic project of the bank to reengineer the existing operating processes, to setup the new standardized back office processes. The new processes will improve efficiency in the back office by at least 25%. 

In tandem with the above, this position will spearhead cross-functional task-forces to target on improving the Bank’s performance in key end-to-end processes identified by senior management, and sponsored by TO Office. 

Roles and Responsibilities include –

• Develop detailed design for the re-engineered processes, including Standard documentation templates and Guiding principles and approaches.

• Review existing and re-engineering the current paper based processes into new detailed processes which are “workflow system ready”.

• Implement quick wins that are independent of automation and drive the existing process design work-stream by providing insights and fresh inputs.

• Facilitate the implementation of the process improvements by providing relevant business requirements to the implementation work stream, necessitating the project timeline works in tandem with the implementation schedule.

• Ensure the quality of detail process maps and descriptions, suggested efficiency improvements, quick-wins implementation and suggested branch and back-office (Operations) hand-offs and model.

• Work with appointed system integrators for the workflow systems during the course of the design.
