Purpose
The role also supports the development and execution of the Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Target Operating Model in Luxembourg by collaborating with the LSS team around standard project approaches, tools and templates in order to achieve the desired culture change.
Primary Responsibilities
Project Change Leadership
Drive complex projects (multiple processes/multiple business lines) and deliver on time and on quality project objectives.
Identify project opportunities, and define scope for projects.
Manage internal client relationships including on-boarding the sponsor, identifying the project objective and managing the project delivery.
Ensure effective execution of each project including on-boarding the team and executing against objectives which may include the use of the Project Management Framework (PMF).
Work with the business stakeholders and Finance in order to quantify the financial benefit of each initiative and to identify metrics to determine whether project objectives have been met.
Establish and oversee project
communication plans.
Facilitate various communication sessions including opportunity spotting and heat mapping.
Conduct opportunity studies and support these with business cases
Provide recommendations to business on best practices in internal and external development and change management.
Facilitate AS-IS process mapping and TO-BE process design for complex processes
Comfortable with Line of Visibility Engineering Model (LOVEM).
Lean Six Sigma Coaching
Coach Green Belt candidates in the business and COE Green Belts toward certification and through multiple projects.
Coach Green Belt candidates through change management, statistics, project execution, leadership and on LSS tools and techniques. Some of the coaching may be done remotely where Green Belts are identified in other geographical locations.
Identify potential Green Belt candidates across the organization
Practice Development
Support development and execution of LSS Target Operating Model in Luxembourg.
Collaborate with the global LSS team around standard project approaches, tools and templates
Contribute toward the foundation of the LSS infrastructure (e.g. Share Point, standard reports and identification of success measures).
Experience
Essential
- Green Belt certification required; Black Belt preferred
- 3 – 5 years prior experience in either a financial institution or a transaction based industry.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate difficult discussions and lead cross functional information gathering sessions
- Demonstrated ability to coach participants and/or LSS candidates toward successful project completion
- Demonstrated ability to manage key stakeholder relationships in order to grow the process design practice within Luxembourg
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma and LOVEM approaches
- Demonstrated project management and/or Change Management skills.
- Experience successfully leading transformational activities
- Strong analytical skills
- Process Design experience
Technical
- Proficient in MS Office – emphasis on MS Excel and MS Power Point
- Proficient in statistical software (i.e. MiniTab)
- Proficient in modeling software (i.e. iGrafx and/or Visio)
- Project Management experience

- Responsible for the prioritization of recommendations for project solutions within each project
